We are tribal people. As humans, we are wired to pursue belonging, acceptance, and identity. As believers, we’re called to find our identity in Christ, and our place of belonging in the Church. There are over 200 million unchurched people in the United States, making it the third largest missions field in the world. Now, more than ever, we need healthy, empowered, and adequately supported churches who can walk in the fullness of their calling to preach the gospel and transform their communities.
Somewhere between 3,000-4,000 churches close their doors every year. The most common contributing factors to these closures are the loneliness of their leaders, lack of resources, lack of proper vision, and unhealthy church government. Our vision is to provide churches with the kind of support they need to navigate these kinds of issues, and to help build stronger, more healthy leaders.
One size does not fit all. We understand that different churches and leaders have different needs and desires for connectedness, and that’s why we’ve created three levels of potential involvement in our Network:
These are churches that have been specifically sent and planted with our name and DNA. These churches make a financial commitment of 1% of their general budget (tithes and offerings) at a maximum of $5,000 annually, to support the Radiant Network administration and future church planting or assistance. Radiant Churches have complete access to the entirety of Network resources.
These are churches that don’t carry the “Radiant” name, but are closely connected to us. These churches reflect our core values, structure, and look to us for oversight. They benefit from open access to our resources, and also make a financial commitment of 1% of their general budget (tithes and offerings) at a maximum of $5,000 annually, to support the Radiant Network administration and future church planting or assistance.
These are churches who connect with the Radiant Network ministry model and have similar values and vision, but may already be a part of an existing network or family of churches. Their leadership teams attend Radiant Conferences, and they benefit from select resources and event discounts available to Radiant Friends churches. Churches connected at this level commit an annual investment of $250, which supports Radiant Network administration and future church assistance.
